Princess Beatrice will reportedly snub Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by doing one move.

The palace has just confirmed Princess Beatrice’s engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Princess Eugenie’s older sister will be walking down the aisle in 2020.

However, according to royal expert Victoria Arbiter, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter is unlikely to pick the same church where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wed. Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel in May 2018. Princess Eugenie and Jacks Brooksbank chose the same venue for their royal wedding. However, Princess Beatrice might not follow the trend.

“St. George's Chapel strikes me as the more obvious pick, but after a spate of family nuptials held there in quick succession, one can see why it wouldn't be terribly appealing,” Arbiter said. “There's not a bride on the planet who wants to be compared to the one who went before.”

In related news, Markle’s fans questioned the timing of the announcement of Princess Beatrice’s engagement. The big news was announced while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were still in South Africa for an official tour.

“It’s more like Beatrice hogging the limelight during Meghan ‘s South African tour. Couldn’t she have waited for a couple of days?” one netizen wrote on Twitter.

Another royal fan defended Princess Beatrice. According to Faz, Prince Harry and Markle’s South Africa tour is part of their job and it’s not a major life event. Thus, it’s not reasonable for Princess Beatrice to hold off her engagement announcement just because the Sussexes are working in Africa.

There are rumors that Princess Beatrice would ban her father Prince Andrew on her big day. An insider claimed that the bride-to-be doesn’t want any drama on her big day and at present, the Duke of York is plagued with controversy due to his connection with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

However, according to Martin Robinson, Princess Beatrice’s engagement is a rare piece of good news for Prince Andrew. He added that Princess Beatrice might have the honor to walk her down the aisle.
