Meghan Markle’s baby might overshadow Princess Charlotte.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s only daughter will be celebrating her fourth birthday on Thursday. However, her royal cousin might steal the spotlight from her if the Duchess of Sussex gives birth on the same day.

“The royal tot may still be overshadowed by the birth of her cousin if he or she is born tomorrow,” Daily Express’ Kat Hopps wrote.

According to bookies, they see a flurry of bets placed on baby Sussex arriving on the Princess Charlotte’s birthday. Ladbrokes has slashed the odds of Markle’s baby sharing the same birthday as Kate Middleton’s daughter on May 2 to 2/1.

“Unless the baby is already here and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to keep things private for a little while longer, the newborn will have a May birthday and we’ve been forced to slash the odds of the tot sharing his or her big day with their cousin Charlotte,” Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said.

To celebrate Princess Charlotte’s birthday, Middleton shared new photos of her baby girl. The duchess made the same move when Prince Louis turned 1 year old a week ago.

The Duchess of Cambridge is fond of taking photos of her kids. The royal mom of three who confessed to be an amateur photographer has started making her kids the subject of her portraits following Prince George’s birth. Here are some of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ best photos taken by Middleton herself.

Over the years, Middleton has learned some tricks to capture the best shots of her children. According to Bronwen Sharpe, the duchess has the “natural ability to capture humanity.”

She also pointed out how Prince William’s wife is so good at using lighting and focus. Sharpe noticed that Middleton has an intuitive eye for color, composition and light. She also observed how the Duchess of Cambridge often places her subjects in soft lighting.

Meanwhile, photographer Jame Harris praised Middleton as her photography skills have improved since her first royal baby portrait of Prince George. She also noticed how Middleton dresses her children in bright outfits to make a “photo pop.”
