Princess Eugenie is likely to be the next royal to make a baby announcement.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were expecting their first baby, all eyes were on Prince William and Middleton. Many royal fans wanted the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to have their fourth baby, too, because fans yearn to welcome two royal babies this year.

However, instead of Prince William and Middleton, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, might be the next couple to announce their pregnancy.

"It's looking increasingly likely Eugenie will be the next royal to give birth after Meghan," Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said.

The odds suggest that Princess Eugenie will be pregnant this year at 8/13. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank have been married for just over three months. The couple exchanged “I dos” on Oct. 12. So, their baby announcement could be right around the corner.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip waited for about three months before they got pregnant with Prince Charles. Prince Harry and Markle made their baby announcement five months after their wedding.

Meanwhile, other punters feel that Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy might not happen until next year. Bookies Coral suggests that 2020 is the most likely year when a member of the royal family will announce another pregnancy with odds at 5/4.

"We're expecting Prince Eugenie and new husband Jack to wait a little while before starting a family, although next year is the clear favourite in our betting for the birth of their first child,” Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said.

“It’s 5-1 that another Royal baby arrives this year,” he added.

Last week, people were convinced that Middleton was expecting her fourth baby as bookies slashed the odds of her pregnancy again to 2-1. The betting odds suggest that there could be a baby announcement around the corner.

However, some didn’t think the same. Middleton has been seen out and about since she returned to her royal duties in October. There were no signs of a baby bump as well.

In addition, Prince William and Middleton’s children have at least two years age gap. Middleton has just delivered Prince Louis in April, so it is unlikely that she would want to get pregnant soon. However, some experts believe that Middleton might want another baby after Markle’s delivery.
