An activist group projected messages, including “@jack is #complicit,” on Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco, calling for the social media company to ban President Donald Trump from using its social media platform in wake of what it believes are warmongering tweets by the president.

The protest by Resistance SF started after Trump's threatening tweet Tuesday night directed at North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, saying that the nuclear bomb he had was “much bigger & more powerful” than that of Kim.

The group also called for the resignation of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for allowing Trump to propagate his messages on the microblogging site.

According to the activist group, Dorsey has violated the rules of his company by allowing Trump to tweet.

Messages reading “Be a hero: Ban Trump,” “Endangers the world” and “Trump’s dog whistle” with an arrow pointing towards the logo of the company, “Trump or @jack must go”, and “@jack is #complicit” were displayed at Twitter's Headquarter.

The activist group posted the images of all their projections on the building on the group’s Facebook account.

The group wrote Wednesday on their Facebook page, “Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, has enabled @realDonaldTrump from his first dog whistles in the birther movement to his latest nuclear pissing contest.”

The group added: “Twitter is endangering the world and breaking its own terms of service to do it. Trump or Jack must go. ”

According to the post on the activist group’s Facebook page, the group has urged people to come forward and join the campaign called "#JackIsComplicit." The group wrote, “Join the event even if you cannot attend physically. We will post shareable media.”

They asked people to come up with signs, and chants. And also urged to bring their umbrellas as the group is determined to protest in all weather conditions – “even if it rains.”

“If you'd like to endorse or help organize this action, please reach out,” wrote the group.

The group also wrote, “Twitter had the audacity to say Trump’s escalation with North Korea didn’t violate their policies because it [wants] a threat.” It added, “If you don’t think teetering toward World War III is a threat then you’re probably named Jack Dorsey.”

According to a report in Huffington Post, Twitter explained that the tweets by Trump in no way violated the company’s terms and conditions policies. According to the company’s policies only “specific threats of violence or wish for the serious physical harm, death, or disease of an individual or group of people” are banned.

Many of Twitter's guidelines help shield government entities. Twitter’s policies exempt federal, state, or local government entities in the United States from a number of clauses when the social media is being used officially.
