The newest lineup of free PlayStation games has officially been announced, promising three new titles for all PS Plus subscribers to enjoy this coming October.

October’s free PS Plus games lineup, according to the PS Blog, includes “Hell Let Loose,” “PGA Tour 2K21” and “Mortal Kombat X.” Here’s an overview for each one of these games for prospective players who are looking for new titles to play.

“Hell Let Loose”

Break through the enemy frontlines as a soldier during humanity’s greatest conflict in “Hell Let Loose.” Storm fortified positions and secure territory in 100-player matches in this hardcore FPS with light elements of realism that make every battle feel visceral and heart-pounding without being overly complicated.

“Hell Let Loose” struck a fine balance between fun and realism, which has earned it much adoration from its PC playerbase. Now, PS5 players will be able to join the fight as one of 14 different playable classes armed with historically accurate equipment found across the European theater of war.

“PGA Tour 2K21”

Compete in the FedExCup Championship in “PGA Tour 2K21.” Create a custom golfer and start a professional career in singleplayer mode or take on friends and other players in local or online golf games.

Earn rewards, customize gear, establish a clubhouse and run custom tournaments with personalized rules and requirements in “PGA Tour 2K21” for the ultimate virtual golfing experience.

“Mortal Kombat X”

Witness NetherRealm’s legendary fighting game in one of its best cinematic experiences in recent years with “Mortal Kombat X.” Play through the game’s masterfully-made story campaign that expands the universe of “Mortal Kombat” with a new cast of characters and exciting events or compete in online ladders to show everyone who’s best.

Customize fighters by picking from one of three unique fighting styles that greatly alter how each character is played, changing their movesets by swapping out special moves for ones that are unique to each style.

September’s PS Plus Games

As always, players still have some time to claim the previous month’s free games before the offer expires. September’s PS Plus games include “Predator: Hunting Grounds,” “Hitman 2” and “Overcooked: All You Can Eat.”
