  • A vampire facelift costs more than $5,400 per session
  • Katerina Tikhonova also reportedly underwent Botox procedures in Germany
  •  She is said to have traveled over 50 times to Munich to be with her alleged lover, Igor Zelensky

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s daughter had been flying regularly to Germany to undergo a controversial cosmetic procedure costing nearly $5,500 per session, according to a report.

Katerina Tikhonova, 35, previously traveled to Munich, Germany, to undergo a “vampire facelift,” a controversial beauty treatment where the patient’s blood is removed, processed and injected back under the skin to treat signs of aging. The beauty remedy is said to cost £4,310 or more than $5,400 per session, as first reported by the German newspaper Bild.

In addition to getting a vampire facelift, Tikhonova also underwent Botox procedures and had hyaluronic acid injections.

“Putin's daughter wasted thousands of euro on a weird beauty procedure - does she, just like her daddy, want to be younger and live forever?” a Russian individual was cited as saying by the publication, referring to Putin and his lover Alina Kabaeva’s fondness of Botox treatments.

Tikhonova is said to have traveled more than 50 times to Munich from 2017 to 2019 to be with her alleged lover, 52-year-old Igor Zelensky, who headed the Bavarian State Ballet until recently, according to flight records cited in a joint investigation published this month by Russian news outlet Important Stories, and Der Spiegel.

The ballet star stepped down from his position on April 4 due to private family circumstances. However, Serge Dorny, managing director of the Bavarian State Opera, said he was removed after refusing to denounce Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

The records obtained by the outlets also appeared to suggest that Tikhonova and Zelensky had a daughter born in 2017. This was around the time that Putin’s daughter split from her husband, Russian businessman Kirill Shamalov. The investigative report refused to name the couple’s daughter for ethical reasons but wrote that part of her name was Igorevna.

It is unclear when and how Tikhonova met Zelensky. The latter was previously married to Mariinsky Theater dancer and choreographer Yana Serebriakova.

The new details surrounding Tikhonova’s visits to Germany may raise questions for Putin. The Russian leader has previously slammed members of the Russian elite for flying to and staying in Western countries.

The outlets added that the whereabouts of Tikhonova, Zelensky and their daughter are currently unknown.
