Since Kate Middleton married Prince William, her popularity has increased, and she has won over the public. Along with receiving praise from outsiders, the Duchess of Cambridge has also won the admiration of Queen Elizabeth.

A royal expert claimed that Kate’s smooth adjustment to the royal spotlight helped her earn points with the monarch.

During a discussion with the BBC’s Lorraine, Jennie Bond claimed Queen Elizabeth thinks Kate makes the perfect partner for Prince William, who will become King someday.

“I think the Queen is very, very fond of Sophie, Countess of Wessex. She often takes her place beside the Queen but, I think she admires the way Catherine, as she is known in royal circles, has adapted to the job of being a Queen-in-waiting,” the royal expert revealed.

“She is doing really well, isn’t she? She’s so dignified, she has a quiet dignity the public is growing to love. And she works behind the scenes as we learned before Christmas - she issued a letter for the midwives of this country.”

Bond revealed wanted to Kate surprise expecting mothers. “This is the year of nurses and midwives, and she revealed she has been working at Kingston Hospital with the maternity unit and even going to people’s house,” bond explained.

“Can you imagine, having a baby, and your midwife is coming round to see how you’re doing, and in pops the Duchess of Cambridge. She is coming into her own,” she added.

Even though Queen Elizabeth hasn’t publicly praised Kate for her charitable contributions, it appears her dedicated work ethic has left a positive impression on the monarch.
