Queen Elizabeth II stands by Prince Andrew amid all the controversy plaguing him.

The Duke of York has been in hot water for his connections with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Just recently, Prince Andrew finally spoke about the issue in a car crash interview and many deemed it a bad move with some saying that the Queen’s reputation would be at risk for allowing his favorite son to do it.

However, Queen Elizabeth II proves to everyone that she supports Prince Andrew all the way. The monarch was spotted enjoying horse riding with Prince Andrew after his controversial interview.

“The Queen, who approved Prince Andrew’s ill-fated decision to do a television interview about his friendship with a convicted sex offender, has been photographed out horse riding with her second son,” royal correspondent Richard Palmer wrote on Twitter.

A number of netizens understand Queen Elizabeth II’s decision. Many of them pointed out that the monarch is Prince Andrew’s mom and as his parent, she is a good mother for still supporting him.

“It is her son. Most parents would standby their children it’s a mitgerkt[sic] instinct. Did people expect her to discard & disown him? Think about it, if it was your donor daughter??“ one netizen commented.

“she’s a good leader for asking her son to step down from his Royal duties & also a good mother for NOT disowning her son,” another user opined.

Several other netizens agreed that what Queen Elizabeth II did was okay. Many of them said that it was enough that she ordered Prince Andrew to step down from his royal duties. Also, the public should not forget that Her Majesty is Prince Andrew’s mother and moms’ love should be unconditional.

Meanwhile, a netizen said that Prince Andrew ruined Princess Beatrice’s upcoming royal wedding with his interview. Many believed that it would have been better if he kept silent.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were photographed after the duke announced that he would be stepping down from his royal duties. Princess Beatrice was with her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi sneaking into an up-market member’s club in London’s Mayfair through the backdoor. On the other hand, Princess Eugenie put on a brave face as she smiled to the cameras while leaving a charity dinner in London, but netizens weren’t convinced that she was okay.
