Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles will support Meghan Markle without reservations despite the backlash the duchess is receiving.

According to The Sun, the Queen and Prince of Wales are “backing Meghan all the way” despite the criticisms plaguing her. The senior royals understand that Markle is transitioning into royal life after she gave up her former career as an actress.

Queen Elizabeth II showed her support by inviting the Duchess of Sussex to join her for a few days in Balmoral. It was the first time Markle has been invited which “is a sign of how fond he is for her.”

The Queen’s invitation was deemed a “huge honor” for Prince Harry’s wife. The insider said that the trip to Queen Elizabeth II’s most popular retreat is “special and heartfelt.” It’s reportedly a testament to how well she’s doing in her royal role.

“The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days,” the royal source dished. “It is testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honour.”

On the other hand, Markle has been reported to have a good relationship with his father-in-law. Prince Charles has been very supportive of Prince Harry’s wife from the start. The Prince of Wales was the one who give Markle away on her big day when her father, Thomas Markle Sr., decided to cancel his appearance at the royal wedding because he was still recovering from a heart surgery.

Prince Charles reportedly admired Markle’s strength and the backbone she gives to Prince Harry. The heir apparent even praised his daughter-in-law to his friends for being intelligent and nice. He also said that Markle “makes Harry happy.”

Just recently, Markle was accused of throwing shade at Kate Middleton when she turned down the cover of Vogue because it was “boastful.” Many find it a dig to the Duchess of Cambridge who graced the magazine cover three years ago.

Another insider said that Markle tricked and betrayed Middleton with her statement. An insider said that Markle was on a mission to make her mark and she wanted to be the “duchess who everyone looked up to and admired, even if it means ruffling some more feathers.”
