Racing Point, revealed their new RP20 livery on Monday and have decided to continue using their dominant pink color theme for their 2020 contender.

During the launch event held at Lake Mondsee shores on Monday, Racing Point also revealed a change in title sponsorship as well, for the new season.

BWT, an Australian water company, is now the official title sponsor.

Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll will continue as the lead drivers for Racing Point's 2020 championship bid. They were both in attendance at the launch event.

Racing Point finished seventh in last year's constructor's championship.

The team has had a string of tough seasons in F1, but their luck seemed to change during last year's season as they were able to secure new parts for their car. These will feature in their 2020 offering.

Racing Point team principal, Otmar Szafnauer was in attendance at the launch.

Speaking to reporters, Szafnauer said that the team was looking to place fourth in the championship this season and that they wanted to be closer to the top three teams.

He claimed the competition from McLaren, Renault and Alfa Romeo in the F1 championship was getting stronger.

Andrew Green, the Technical Director for the Racing Point team, was not present during the launch.

Green is at the team's home base making ready for pre-season tests to be held Wednesday in Barcelona.

Mexican born driver Sergio Perez recently concluded negotiations on his deal with Racing Point and renewed his contract that will see him stay on till 2022.

Perez has been with Racing Point since 2014 and said that he welcomes the new partnership deal with new title sponsors BWT.

Sergio pointed out that Racing Point staff was more focused on the task at hand since the staff would not be doing a lot of jobs at the same time.

During the 2021 season, Racing Point will undergo a naming change to Aston Martin, and Perez pointed out that this would not affect the deal that he has signed with the team to stay on until the end of 2022.

He added that representing Aston martin would be huge for him as he considers them an iconic brand in the racing world.

Sergio Perez has a solid reputation in the F1 as a consistent driver but has yet to place a podium finish at a Grand Prix. He is also one of the few who have secure contracts in the midfield for the next two years.
