The holiday spirit continues at Lifetime with the premiere of another brand new festive film. The newest movie to join the It’s A Wonderful Lifetime slate is “Radio Christmas,” airing Saturday night and starring Keshia Knight Pulliam and Michael Xavier

The film’s main stars are certainly no strangers to fans, with Knight Pulliam perhaps best known for her childhood role of Rudy Huxtable on “The Cosby Show.” However, she’s also a Christmas movie veteran, starring in the 2004 theater release “Christmas at Water’s Edge,” and taking on a supporting role in 2018’s “Jingle Belle,” opposite Tatyana Ali. This new film will mark her first lead role for one of Lifetime’s original holiday movies, however, but she will taking on the role as a new lead on the network with Xavier, who is also making his debut there. He also had a supporting role as Ellie’s less-generous fiancé Gray in Netflix’s 2017 film, “Christmas Inheritance.”

So what will happen when these two join forces in their first lead roles on Lifetime? According to a synopsis, Knight Pulliam's character will be getting some big lessons on what the holidays are really all about.

“When her Philadelphia radio station is closed for repairs during the holidays, DJ Kara Porter (Knight Pulliam) is forced to broadcast from the small town of Bethlehem,” the synopsis reads. “Desperate to increase her numbers and get promoted outside of Radio Christmas—a year-round Christmas station, Kara seeks to uncover the identity of the town’s Secret Santa, an anonymous benefactor that saved all of Bethlehem’s Christmas festivities.”

However, finding the mystery man or woman won’t be the only thing she discovers, which is likely where Xavier’s character, Scott, comes in.

“Along the way, she discovers the true meaning of family, community, love and of course, Christmas,” the synopsis states.

Will Kara’s mission to find the benefactor give her all of the answers she seeks plus more than she ever dreamed of? If so, then she may just have the ultimate Christmas she will always remember.

Tim Reid (“Sister Sister”) also stars.

“Radio Christmas” airs Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
