'Rainbow Six Siege' Review Roundup
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" is the latest entry in the popular tactical FPS franchise. Ubisoft

Rainbow Six Siege technical test servers have been the talk of the game’s community over the past few weeks, and now they’re a reality. Posters on the title’s official subreddit have confirmed receiving emails from Ubisoft about being accepted into the program. A screenshot of the message can be seen below. It reads as follows:

You have been selected for the soft launch of the Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test Server which starts on March 22. You can preload it now on your Uplay PC game client in the games section.

Technical Test Server invitations are being sent out from Rainbow6

Much like we’ve seen for games like The Division and Overwatch, the Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test will allow daring players to try new patches early to check for bugs. The intent is to let multiplayer enthusiasts experience the update first to ensure the public version is tighter when it comes out. The Siege community in particular is quite good at finding granular shortcomings in new builds, so the idea makes perfect sense.

If you have access to the test, you should see Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test in your My Games menu.

Didn’t get an invite and want to see if you can score one for the next soft launch period? Here’s what you need to do.

  4. Make sure your account has your full name and gender filled in at the very least.

The next Technical Test is expected to begin sometime next week, and users with a subscription to the above newsletter will be invited. You may get a few more advertising emails in the meantime, but you’ll be given priority for new Rainbow Six Siege content too.

Rainbow Six Siege is available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Technical Test is exclusive to PC.
