Fans were treated to the first ever “Rainbow Six Siege” Twitch Rivals Celebrity Showdown on June 10.

The E3 Charity Challenge Tournament had teams of Siege streamers headed by rappers T-Pain and Lil Yachty compete against each other for a slice of a $50,000 prize pool for charity, with $40,000 to be donated to the winning captain’s charity of choice and $10,000 to be used as the losing captain sees fit. Additionally, another $50,000 would be split between the streamers on the winning team

The celebrity showdown happened after Ubisoft’s E3 press conference and had this line-up

Team T-Pain:

  • Bnans
  • Lil_Lexi
  • Annemunition
  • Therussianbadger

The Lil Yachty Team:

  • Sacriel
  • ZanderLP
  • Moondye7
  • BikiniBodhi

The “Rainbow Six Siege” Charity Challenge was live-streamed on Twitch but in case you missed it, you can watch the entire thing below:

The charity challenge, which raised money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Girls Who Code, started with Team T-Pain rushing in during the first round. Streamer TheRussianBadger dove in with the recruit shotgun rush which helped his team secure the victory for the first round. Team Yachty focused less on ‘meme’ plays, and instead filled the game with rather colorful language. Perhaps the most impressive feat to come from either of the two, T-Pain managed to clutch a 1v1 for his team after teammate TheRussianBadger was downed. This secured the win for his team that round. Additionally, during that very same round, Lil Yachty accidentally gunned down , putting them at a disadvantage early on. You can watch the clip of Lil Yachty accidentally killing his teammate below:

“Oh s--t. Oh, my bad... I didn’t know that. You can’t walk up on me like that. I ain’t ready for that” Lil Yachty exclaimed upon realizing what had happened

In all eight rounds of play, not a single player ended up picking the new defender, Warden, however, Nøkk was very popular. It seemed as if everyone preferred meming the Tachanka—especially TheRussianBadger.

T-Pain's team ended up walking away with a 5-3 win and a $40,000 check for St. Jude’s Play LIVE, while Lil Yachty’s team received $10,000 to donate towards Girls Who Code.

The first “Rainbow Six Siege” Twitch Rivals Celebrity Showdown was entertaining to watch and people are already meming Lily Yachty for accidentally shooting a teammate. However, while it was entertaining, it served a great cause and at the end, no one really lost.
