The holiday spirit continues to remain in full swing over on Lifetime, with the newest film, “Random Acts of Christmas.” The film, which is the newest entry to this year’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” lineup, stars Erin Cahill and Kevin McGarry.

Both actors are holiday movie veterans, with several titles to their names, including TV movies and direct to DVD releases. Among Cahill’s past credits are Lifetime’s 2018 film “Hometown Christmas,” as well as “Last Vermont Christmas” on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries that same year. She also starred in Hallmark Channel’s “Sleigh Bells Ring” in 2016. McGarry meanwhile has been a staple at Hallmark for years, appearing also in this year’s “Christmas Scavenger Hunt” and 2018’s Movies and Mysteries film “A Song for Christmas.” Despite their combined credits, however, the two have never starred together in a holiday film on Lifetime or elsewhere.

So what will happen when these two Christmas movie vets pull together for their first title? Definitely some lessons on the true spirit of Christmas, but also plenty of romance as well.

Random Acts of Christmas
Erin Cahill and Kevin McGarry star in “Random Acts of Christmas.”  Lifetime

“While uncovering who is behind the random acts of Christmas popping up around her city, investigative journalist Sydney (Cahill) meets a competing reporter, Cole (McGarry),” a synopsis reads.

However, while at first Cole might just seem like someone who is also after the truth for his own story, Sydney may instead find herself charmed by someone she never expected instead—even if he isn’t telling her the whole story.

“[Cole] ignites her Christmas spirit and captures her heart, but may not be the man he claims to be,” the synopsis states.

Will Sydney find more than she bargained for as she grows closer to Cole, or will she instead make the most delightful holiday discovery yet?

Jaclyn Smith and Patrick Duffy also star in the film, which is produced by Jolly Productions in association with Johnson Production Group.

“Random Acts of Christmas” airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
