Ravenswood cancelled ending revealed
"Ravenswood" might have abruptly been canceled, but the spin off series will answer all your questions during the Season 5 premiere of "Pretty Little Liars." Ravenswood

Will the mysterious ending of “Ravenswood” ever be resolved? That’s the question fans had on their minds when they learned that the “Pretty Little Liars” spinoff would be ending after just one season.

"We knew where we were going, they just told us to get off the train,” executive producer Joseph Dougherty confessed after the abrupt cancellation.

The ride ended so quickly that fans of the spinoff were left with one of the biggest cliffhangers in ABC Family history. And because of that, Dougherty and the rest of the crew felt a responsibility to tie the loose ends together for the devoted fans who watched Season 1 of “Ravenswood.”

With that said, it looks like Season 5 of “PLL,” which is set to premiere on June 10, will have some explaining to do. "We're going to try, in as satisfactory of a way as possible, not to leave you guys hanging," Joseph Dougherty said.

“Pretty Little Liars” creator Marlene King explained to Zap2it that the ending of “Ravenswood” will definitely be revealed when the beloved drama returns this summer. “We have a way to sort of visit a mini version of Ravenswood, and I think we'll probably try to do that, so that even as writers we have a little closure on that story. We didn't have much of a chance to get that story told, but we'll find some closure there."

Does that mean we’ll get to see the “Ravenswood” characters we’ve all grown to know and love?

"I hope so," she teased. "We've certainly talked about it. The [Ravenswood] kids are all fantastic and they have become good friends with Caleb, so it's certainly possible that they would come into his life when he returns to Rosewood."

But the biggest reunion fans of “PLL” and “Ravenswood” are looking forward to is a Haleb one! It’s been confirmed that Tyler Blackburn, who plays the role of the shaggy-haired hunk, will be returning as a series regular on the ABC Family series. Excited? You’re not the only one!

"She might pee her pants,” King joked about Hanna’s reaction to seeing Caleb back in Rosewood. “Maybe I'll suggest that. If she peed her pants and then kissed him, that'd be really romantic, wouldn't it?"

We’d say so.
