Ray J and Kim Kardashian’s relationship is a thing of the past, but people still usually make fun of it and the rapper is not laughing at the jokes.

The 39-year-old “Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star admitted that although he doesn’t get offended by the Kardashian quips, he is tired from hearing the ancient jokes.

“I don’t take offense to any of that because the world will be the world, but it’s definitely super, super, super old. I’m definitely exhausted from that life and that world and those subjects. But for me, you know, we always just, we’re looking forward,” Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., told Us Weekly.

Ray J didn’t mention a specific instance, but it is worth noting that during the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, host Zachary Levi made a joke about the rapper and Kardashian’s infamous sex tape.

“Although I’m sure some of you are more familiar with his work as a cameraman,” the “Shazaam!” actor said.

As the camera panned to the artist’s spot, his wife, Princess Love, whom he shares two kids with, coyly smiled and showed her middle finger. Ray J and Kardashian dated from 2003 to 2006 and their sex tape leaked in 2007.

The “Sexy Can I” hitmaker was previously accused of being responsible for the circulation of the sex video, but he denied this in 2018. Ray J explained that he is a different person now and asked people to cut him some slack and give him a chance to grow.

“God is working, and obviously, the devil is trying to work, too, but it will not happen. I will not let that happen, y’all. I love my wife and I have nothing but respect for everybody out there, past and present. False rumors,” Ray J said at the time.

Kardashian had also talked about the intimate clip in an episode of the E! reality show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” saying that she was on drugs when the sex tape was filmed.

“I definitely went through a wild phase,” Kardashian told her sister Kendall Jenner.
