‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Spoilers: Porsha Williams Confirms Pregnancy Before Season 11

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11 hasn’t premiered just yet, but one cast member has already announced some major news ahead of the upcoming episodes. Porsha Williams confirmed she is pregnant with her first child.

Even though the 37-year-old is excited to start a family with boyfriend Dennis McKinley, she admitted her road to conceiving a child wasn’t easy and reflected on a heartbreaking loss that made her doubt what should have been a happy moment.

“When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear,” she told People.

“I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy,” she explained.

Williams, who suffered a miscarriage during her pregnancy six years ago, worried her current baby would not make it to full term. However, her fear subsided after her first ultrasound. “Going into the first appointment and being able to see baby and hear baby and know that baby is fine, then I can really wrap my mind around actually becoming a mommy,” the “RHOA” star said.

Although Williams and McKinley weren’t planning on expanding their family so soon, they couldn’t be more excited to meet their baby. “The pregnancy came from the left, but it definitely has brought us closer together because you realize when it sets in that you are actually bringing a life to this world, that you have become family overnight,” she shared.

Even though Williams hasn’t confirmed her engagement to Mckinley, the star wore a diamond ring on her left ring finger in her magazine photo shoot and appeared to allude to a possible union while sharing a photo of her big announcement on Instagram.

This will be the first child for both Williams and McKinley. The couple, who has yet to learn the sex of their baby, has not shared details regarding their little one’s due date.
