Kenya Moore is a fighting woman when it comes to her marriage.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star first announced her split from her estranged husband, Marc Daly, in September. Now, a month later, she's setting the record straight on the heartbreaking news.

"I didn’t get married to quit. I love my husband," Kenya, 48, shared in this week's issue of People. "I don’t doubt that he loves me. Let me be clear, I took my vows seriously. I believe in for better and for worse and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child and we are a family."

Although Kenya, who has 11-month-old daughter Brooklyn with Daly, is willing to do the work to keep her marriage together, she doesn't think Daly feels the same way.

"I am hopeful and have always wanted to work on our relationship. But I just don’t know if that’s even a possibility at this point, honestly," she admitted, adding, "...Marc doesn’t seem to be there."

The returning "RHOA" star attributed their communication styles as the main cause of their problems and though she didn't elaborate on exactly what those problems were, she did share what wasn't an issue.

"In terms of infidelity, I’ve had no proof of that," she stated. "That’s not our issue.”

Based on previous reports of the moments leading up to Kenya's split from Daly, most would agree that the couple could benefit from learning to communicate better with each other.

Just one day before their divorce announcement, an insider spilled that "Kenya aggressively confronted Marc at an event he was hosting," likely over the allegations of infidelity on Daly's part and that Marc was overheard calling Kenya an "attention whore."

All of this happened to go down while the Bravo cameras were rolling so it's highly likely that fans will be able to watch all the drama unfold on the upcoming Season 12 of "RHOA."

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 12 premieres Sun. Nov. 3 on Bravo.
