“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes has not been happy with the way she has been portrayed on Season 12 of the Bravo series. Although she considered quitting the show, it appears the 52-year-old plans to take legal action against the network.

Since “RHOA” Season 12 premiered, NeNe has been portrayed as a villain, while struggling to mend her relationships with her cast members. However, it appears she believes producers are editing the episodes to intentionally make her look bad while being sympathetic to Kenya Moore.

According to RadarOnline, NeNe has reached to lawyer Lisa Bloom to voice her frustrations about Bravo’s editing of the series. “Yes, I have spoken to Nene Leakes about her situation,” Bloom told the website.

“I’m so pleased she reached out to me. While our conversation is confidential, I encourage everyone to stand up for their rights!”

Bloom’s statement comes after NeNe posted a photo of the attorney to her Instagram page along with a cryptic message.

“Happy i now have @lisabloomesq on my team! I’ve stay quiet a long time and gathered info along the way. Now I’m gonna make some noise #waitforit #unfair,” the caption read.

An insider told the site that NeNe feels the producers are working against her and damaging her image in the process. “NeNe has expressed her unhappiness with how positively Kenya [Moore] is being portrayed on the show,” the source said.

“NeNe feels like she is getting a bad edit and is being intentionally cut out of episodes,” the insider added.

For now, Nene and Bloom’s next move is unclear, but it appears the pair plans to do what’s best for Nene’s career.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
