Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their decision to divorce on June 30, however the former Hollywood power couple have yet to take off their wedding rings. Could that mean that the two are reconciling? Not so fast. New reports are stating that their amicable split is all part of an effort to keep things normal for their three young children – Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

Since the news of the divorce, both Affleck and Garner have been photographed on numerous occasions with their wedding bands on. The most recent sighting was Affleck at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. A source tells TMZ that the decision to still wear their rings is because they are “committed to co-parenting their kids.” The insider adds that their co-parenting plan includes “wearing the rings around them.”

The latest report comes a few days after another source told People magazine that Garner is being “honest” about the divorce with her children. The 43-year-old actress is said to be telling her kids the truth and not “sugarcoating” things in order to keep them “happy and well-adjusted.”

Affleck and Garner met on the set of “Pearl Harbor” in 2001, but didn’t start dating until after their 2003 film “Daredevil” hit theaters. They got married on June 29, 2005. Despite rumors of cheating, the split has been amicable so far. The entire family went on a getaway to the Bahamas, and Affleck and Garner are said to be seeking joint custody of their children. The two are even living together on the same rental property in Atlanta while Garner films her new movie, "Miracles from Heaven."
