Reese Witherspoon was spotted on the production set of her new show recently. The actress braved the rain to continue the work on the show she is doing with fellow cast member Jennifer Aniston. Pictures of the actress wearing a wig for her new role have surfaced online.

Witherspoon is heading back to the silver screen in a new morning show drama for Apple. Pictures posted on ETOnline show the actress wearing a brunette wig for her new role. Witherspoon and Aniston are not only co-stars on this new show, they are also co-producing it with their respective production companies Hello Sunshine and Echo Films.

The filming is currently taking place in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Witherspoon was spotted going from one trailer to another, accompanied by a crew member who was shielding the actress from the rain. The actress was wearing a white t-shirt and a dark jacket, and she appears to be carrying a mug of coffee in the pictures. It is unclear of this is one of the costumes for the show.

Aniston was previously spotted on the set with director Mark Duplass, ETOnline reported. Her look included a camel coat and black pants. The new show marks the return of Aniston to the silver screen after a gap of seven years. She previously appeared in “Burning Love” in 2012, but she was not a regular on that show. “Friends” continues to be the biggest show for the actress, as she has been working mostly in movies after that.

Witherspoon on the other hand worked in “Big Little Lies.” Her biggest films include the “Legally Blonde” movies and the 2014 flick “Wild.” The actress will be reprising her role as Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde 3,” which will be released next year.

“Bates Motel” co-creator Kerry Ehrin is the showrunner for the new Apple series starring Witherspoon and Aniston. Michael Ellenberg is one of the executive producers. The author of the book “Top of the Morning,” which is about morning shows, Brian Stelter is a consultant for the new series.

Witherspoon has also been in the news recently for joining the 10 year challenge. The actress hasn’t changed much in a decade in the picture she shared on Instagram. Her co-star Aniston isn’t there on social media.
