Former “Mob Wives” reality star Renee Graziano took her boyfriend, Joey Gambino, to WEtv’s reality show “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” to work on their relationship, but Gambino refused to participate in one of the activities. When the cast of the show was forced to experience the loss of a significant other, Gambino did not acknowledge his girlfriend, Radar Online reported Thursday.

The show’s therapist asked Gambino what it would be like if Graziano, 47, died, but he refused to answer. “Why would I wanna go there?” he said. “What’s that gonna benefit me to go to that deep, dark place?”

Next, Gambino read the last thing he said to Graziano before her fake death, which was a result of texting and driving. “My trust issues are making me feel like you’re not going to believe anything that I say and that leads to foolish fights for no reason,” he said. “Your insecurities weigh on me and I don’t want to feel that burden.”

In a confessional to the WEtv cameras, Graziano said she “wished [Joey] had more compassion” and that she was “disappointed” in him.

Graziano admitted herself to rehab in October. She struggled with depression for years and overdosed on oxycontin in 2007. “I didn’t eat and I wasn’t sleeping for days at that point and my body caved in,” told Radar Online last week. “I had almost no potassium and that causes a heart attack. I collapsed.”

Graziano is being treated at Transitions Recovery Program in Miami. She is slated to stay there until March. “I’ve always been afraid of being happy,” she said. “It’s been 25 years since I’ve felt that way.”
