When celebrities break up, a lot of fans think that means a major payday for the partner who isn't considered the breadwinner. However, that's not always the case -- just ask Meghan King Edmonds.

The former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star posted a TikTok video of herself lip-syncing a Cher quote on Monday and in responding to the comments revealed that the support she receives from ex-husband Jim Edmonds may not be what people think.

After one fan accused the 35-year-old of receiving some "serious child support" from her ex, she took a moment to set the record straight.

"That child support is not buying me gold and baubles," she wrote. "It barely pays for groceries for my tribe!"

The comment appeared under the video of the TikTok which she also shared to Instagram. In the short clip, the Bravo reality star mouths these words form the legendary singer, "I love men. I think men are the coolest but you don't really need them to live. My mom says, 'You know, sweetheart, one day you should settle down and marry a rich man,' I said, 'Mom, I am a rich man.'"

"Cher, you are my spirit animal," she captioned the post. "How’s that for some Monday motivation?! Be your own rich man, ladies."

Meghan and Jim were together for five years before the former MLB player filed for divorce in October 2019. The two have three children together -- 3-year-old daughter Aspen and 1-year-old twin boys Hart and Hayes.

One thing about the mother of three, though, is that she's willing to go back to work instead of waiting on a check. In December, after her divorce announcement, she revealed that she wouldn't mind returning to "RHOC," where she was a cast member for Seasons 10-12.

"I miss [the show]. I liked it," she revealed at the 2019 iHeart Jingle Ball Tour at The Forum in Los Angeles on Dec. 6. "I told Andy [Cohen] that I really want to consider coming back as a 'friend.'"

"But I’m kind of not really dead set on it [yet]," she admitted at the time. "So if he [asked me to come back] I’d be like, 'Well, let’s talk.'"
