"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Joe Giudice may be awaiting the final decision in his pending deportation case, but he reportedly has other things on his mind as well. After he leaves the detention center where he is currently housed under ICE's custody, the reality star reportedly wants to make a big change in his life.

According to Page Six, Giudice, 47, wants to begin competing in MMA once he leaves the facility. "He wants to compete and he wants to compete now, in not martial arts, but mixed martial arts," a source close to the television personality told the publication.

Reportedly, even though he went into prison at 215 pounds, he now weighs roughly 165. How did he train while in custody? "According to him, he's been doing a lot of the exercises and a lot of the routines that he learned when he got his black belt," the source revealed, adding, "He's been eating right, exercising, staying in shape, getting his body right and he feels like, as far as his condition, he feels stronger than he did when he was in his 20s."

Continuing, the insider stated that this was not a new idea for the television star. "This is one of the things that he is adamant about and he has been speaking about it for quite some time. He didn't just cook this up last night. It's one of the reasons why he's worked so hard to stay in shape and get in shape and whatnot," they added.

Giudice, who began serving his 41-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud and failure to file income taxes in March 2016, continues to fight the deportation ruling while remaining at the detention center.
