“Rick and Morty” Season 4, episode 6 is coming out soon.

Fans have been waiting for the next episode of “Rick and Morty” Season 4. It has been over three months since the last episode aired, but the wait might not be long.

According to The Cinemaholic, “Rick and Morty” Season 4, episode 6 might be released sometime in April 2020 and will be aired at 11:30 p.m. EDT on Adult Swim. The producers of the hit animated series have assured fans that they will drop the next episode within the year.

Several sources agreed that following its mid-season break in December and considering the past trend, April is the “safest deadline” for episode 6 to premiere. Fans have been clamoring for the next episode and last week the producers dropped a new teaser on Twitter with a short caption that says, “Stay cool - Jerry.”

The one-minute video featured a world full of Jerry copies. Every person has the same face as Jerry’s. Also, there are banners that read “Welcome Jerrys!” It appears to be a festival for the Jerrys because on the gate are the words “Jerryborree” and “Jerryfest.”

“Rick and Morty“ fans flooded the post with comments asking Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland to release episode 6 and the rest of the episodes for season 4.

“WE WANT NEW EPISODES,” @loadingsharif commented.

“Just give us new episodes,” @Tyro_M added.

“Another month without a new episode,” @NG_Tom4 wrote with a crying emoji.

Spencer Grammer who voices Summer Smith, daughter of Jerry Smith and Summer Smith, shared why there is a delay in the production. According to her, it’s due to the storyline that frequently changes.

“And also, storylines change a lot. If a storyline isn’t working, audibly, they’ll go back and re-write and [sometimes] change the whole episode,” she explained.

“There’s one episode we recorded a lot of times. A lot, a lot of times. If Summer hasn’t had a Dan Harmon pass yet, then usually, Summer’s character will be a little bit different, if it feels like Summer doesn’t have as much of an intention as she normally does. So, those things happen too, but very rarely. Mostly we’re just making the story better and I get more lines.”
