Rihanna finally gave an update on her album "Anti," but unfortunately it's not the news fans were hoping for. The 27-year-old singer recently told a fan that she was excited about the album but said Kanye West was no longer listed as an executive producer.

According to Ace Showbiz, a fan sent Rihanna a private message on Twitter telling her that he was "stressed out" over "Anti" not being released.

"Don't be," she wrote back. "I can't wait to see what y'all think."

Rihanna then added, "And FYI Kanye is not EPing Anti!! We’re both working on our own projects right now!”

As previously reported, West is getting ready to release his album "Swish" next month. To help promote it, the rapper has been dropping a new song from the album every Friday. So far, he's released "Facts," "No More Parties in L.A." and "Real Friends."

Even though Rihanna still hasn't announced a release date for "Anti," fans are hopeful that it will hit store shelves in February.

Earlier this week, the "FourFiveSeconds" singer appeared in an ad for the Super Bowl and the Grammy Awards leading to speculation that she will be performing new music at both events. The Super Bowl will air Feb. 7 with Coldplay headlining the halftime show, and the Grammys is slated for Feb. 15. Rihanna also has an "Anti" world tour kicking off next month featuring opening acts with The Weeknd, Travis Scott and Big Sean.

Last week, photos and video surfaced on social media of Rihanna and Drake filming a reported music video in Los Angeles. According to a leaked "Anti" track list, she collaborated on a song with the rapper called "1988."
