Recent reports claimed that Ryan Seacrest is moving to Los Angeles for good. However, an insider debunked the claim and said that Seacrest will return to New York when he needs to film “Live with Kelly and Ryan.”

“There is no truth to this rumor. He will go back to New York when the show decides it’s safe to start up production again at their set,” a source told Page Six on Sunday (June 6). The source addressed the issue after an unknown insider told Closer that the TV show host wanted to move back to his home in L.A. He allegedly “loves Los Angeles and misses the lifestyle.”

“He has nothing against New York, but he feels that he was healthier in L.A,” the source said before adding that “Ryan admitted he’s been exhausted.”

Seacrest sparked health concerns during the season finale of “American Idol.” Many noticed that he appeared confused and his right eye was visibly droopy. However, Seacrest’s rep denied the claims that he had suffered a stroke. “Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night,” the rep told People.

“Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home.”

Moreover, the rep said that Seacrest is just like many people and is still adjusting to the new normal. He is also balancing his life at home while working with the added stress of putting on live shows.

After the incident, Seacrest skipped his co-hosting duties for “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” which sparked even more concerns among fans. Several took to Twitter to check on him after seeing Ripa’s husband filling in to guest-host.

“Ryan worked late last night on ‘American Idol,’ so he’s taking the morning off,” Ripa said at the time. Seacrest’s rep also said the same thing to explain his absence.

“Between ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan,’ ‘American Idol,’ ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest,’ and the Disney Family Singalong specials, he has been juggling three to four on-air jobs over the last few weeks and he’s in need of rest. So today he took a well-deserved day off,” the rep said.
