Salma Hayek confirmed that she has signed multiple movie contract with Marvel Studios. The 55-year-old Mexican-American actress recently made her debut in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, "Eternals."

"I did sign multiple movie deals! It was kind of fun being part of this," Hayek told "Smallzy's Celebrity Small Talk" podcast Sunday. "Secret society that you have to protect so fearlessly."

Marvel is often known for signing multiple movies deal with actors in order to bring back the character in the franchise or spinoff whenever required.

Since "Eternals" was dropped last Friday, many fans learned that Ajak's character (played by Hayek) is one of those Eternals who died in the movie. However, her character might return in a potential "Eternals" sequel in a form of taking rebirth or even for flashback sequences.

Moreover, if Hayek doesn't return as Ajak's character in possible "Eternals" sequel, then Marvel might bring her back in unexpected ways like Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo characters appeared in the "WandaVision" series released on Jan. 15.

"Eternals" was released on Nov. 5, one day after it was reportedly banned in countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. The movie was slated to release in the Gulf region on Nov. 11, only after the same-sex love-making scenes get chopped out.

Angelina Jolie, who played superhero Thena in the movie, criticized the decision to ban "Eternals" and called those countries "ignorant."

"I'm sad for [those audiences]. And I'm proud of Marvel for refusing to cut those scenes out," Jolie told Australian outlet News.com Thursday.

The star-studded "Eternals" features Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, and Kit Harington as Black Knight. The movie is helmed by Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao.

After "Eternals," Marvel is all set to release another highly anticipated movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," on Dec. 17. It will be the fourth movie in the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On the work front, Hayek will next feature in a highly anticipated movie, "House of Gucci," which is slated to release on Nov. 24. The movie also stars Lady Gaga, Jared Leto, Adam Driver and Al Pacino.
