Sarah Ferguson recently gushed over her ex-husband Prince Andrew.

During her appearance on “Good Morning Britain,” the Duchess of York opened up about her parenting style and said that she and Prince Andrew have always been a family unit. Even as kids, Ferguson said that she made a decision to never hide anything from her daughters, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie.

Ferguson and Prince Andrew have also created a safe space for their two daughters to talk about their fears and feelings without judgment.

“The way we have always managed to be very, very solidified as a team together, of course, with the Duke of York, who is a great father, is a family unit and talking about an issue,” she said.

Ferguson also said that with her and Prince Andrew’s guidance, she couldn’t be prouder to have raised two women who are achievers at great things and who have their own careers. Princess Beatrice is currently working with US-based tech company Afiniti, while Princess Eugenie is the art director at Hauser & Wirth gallery.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Ferguson opened up about her family. During her interview with Hello! magazine, the mom of two likened her family unit to a table with four legs.

“A table can’t stand on three legs, really, so you have the Duke and me, and the two girls. We’re a family unit and we lead by example,” she said.

At that time, Ferguson said that she, her ex-husband, and daughters support each other emotionally and health-wise. Every two weeks, it has become a common practice for them to sit together and communicate about anything and everything they want to discuss.

Ferguson also said that she thinks she’s a good mom to her daughters and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are proof that she really is.

The Duke and Duchess of York have been divorced for decades, but they have maintained an amicable relationship with each other.
