Sarah Ferguson previously shared her thoughts regarding Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. The Duchess of York said that she’s sad and seemingly admitted to feeling jealous but not because she wasn’t invited to attend the royal couple’s nuptials.

While speaking with Nancy Jo Sales for Harper’s Bazaar in 2011, the mom of two said that when she thinks about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s nuptials, she felt very sad because she was once that bride. Prince Andrew and Ferguson also tied the knot at Westminster Abbey.

“You’re happy for them, of course, but it’s sad because you’d love to do it all over again, but with the awareness that you have now. I would have fought for Andrew and me to be together after we got married and he went to sea… I would have never let anyone come between us,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ferguson also revealed how conscious she used to be when it came to her appearance. In fact, there was a time when she freaked out at the sight of her round stomach during a pictorial.

“I got rather shy and modest and feeling a bit round like a teapot. I felt very insecure, really… I said, ‘Oh, nothing’s gonna fit,” she said.

At this point, Fergie got her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, on the line. During their conversation, the mom of two told Princess Beatrice that she’s freaking out. Princess Beatrice offered to talk to her mom’s stylist, and she explained how the stylist should deal with Fergie. Shortly after, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife felt calmer.

Fergie also shared the tip that Princess Beatrice gave to her stylist. The future wife of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi instructed the stylist to accentuate her mom’s trim waist.

During the interview, Ferguson gushed over her two daughters and said that the only thing that she’s done 100 percent right is to be a good mother to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. The doting mom said that she thinks she’s the best mom in the world.

“People say to me, ‘what’s your brand identity?’ And I say, ‘I’m a global mother,’” she gushed.
