Sarah Ferguson is slowly making her return to the royal fold, but she may fall back into some bad habits in the future, according to one source.

Patrick Fitzwilliams, former editor of International Who's Who, earlier commented on Ferguson's recent actions following her daughter Princess Eugenie's wedding. According to Fitzwilliams, Prince Andrew's ex hasn't changed and remains "impulsive."

"Sarah Ferguson hasn’t really changed much over the last 30 years," he said (as quoted by Daily Star). "It’s simply that she tends to act impulsively."

"The impulsive behaviour which we associate with her is very much a part of her character – she can’t help it," the source added.

The Duchess of York joined Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the rest of the senior royals for Princess Eugenie's royal wedding in October. However, after the event, there were rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their baby announcement there.

Prince Harry and Markle officially announced that they are expecting when they arrived in Sydney. Just minutes following the announcement, Ferguson posted several photos of Princess Eugenie's wedding on Twitter, which convinced many users that she "felt peeved by the timing of the announcement."

A number of royal fans didn't like Ferguson's reaction, too. Some of them even urged her to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex instead of sharing photos of her daughter's wedding as it was already celebrated. Meanwhile, others reminded her that Princess Eugenie will have the spotlight again when she's expecting a baby.

"We know, we know. STOP trying to steal #MeghanAndHarry’s thunder. Eugenie’s time will come again - if they have kids - the #RoyalWedding2 has been and gone! xXx," one fan wrote on Twitter.

Despite this, Ferguson's relationship with the royals has become better. In fact, it was reported earlier that Prince Philip hasn't forgiven her yet for her toegate scandal and couldn't stand being in the same room with her. However, the 97-year-old royal agreed to join Princess Eugenie's official photos with the Duke and Duchess of York. They also appeared friendly during the wedding.

Although Ferguson is slowly making her way back into the Firm, it remains unknown if she will get an invite to Prince Charles' 70th birthday celebration. According to Katie Nicholl, Ferguson and Princ Andrew's relationship "really riles" the Prince of Wales. Also, Ferguson and Camilla Parker Bowles reportedly had a fight in Balmoral over Princess Diana last summer.
