Sarah Ferguson made an unexpected announcement about her new partnership amid rumors suggesting she's getting back together with Prince Andrew.

The Duchess of York has revealed that she will collaborate with a health and diet expert in the future after visiting a facility in Italy to learn more about nutritional research. Ferguson visited the University of Padua after receiving Gianluca Mech’s invitation. Mech is a health consultant who also announced earlier that they are set to work together in the future, Hello! reported.

“Following the visit, the Duchess was sufficiently impressed by the scientific research she saw. She has agreed to work with Gianluca Mech on a number of projects to promote their shared interests in healthy living,” the statement read.

Ferguson appeared on Italian TV show “Tagada” with Mech, and they talked about their joint project. Ferguson was reportedly very interested in the cause because of her “longstanding interest in obesity and health and her work with various organisations, both commercial and non-commercial over many years.”

Meanwhile, Mech is popular for his “Italiano Diet” that uses herbal extracts to speed up metabolism. He is the sole heir of his family’s long-standing herbal enterprise, which has been at the heart of phytotherapy practices since the late 16th century. He also founded the Gianluca Mech Research Center with the goal of offering the same nutritional guidance to the wider public. Mech is now a health consultant to a number of celebrities in Italy.

Ferguson’s new announcement came amid rumors that she’s getting back together with her ex-husband. There are speculations that the Duke and Duchess of York have already reconciled, but the palace hasn’t confirmed this.
