Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson were both not happy with their marriages.

The late Princess of Wales and the Duchess of York didn't have a happy ever after following their royal weddings. In fact, they were not happy with their respective marriages and even consulted a Greek psychic in the hope of finding a "light at the end of the tunnel."

"Both were trapped in unhappy marriages, desperate to see what the future had in store for them and the belief by speaking and consulting with people who had psychic abilities that they would know how it would turn out and whether there was a light at the end of the tunnel," royal expert David Leigh co-author of "The Duchess of York Uncensored" said (via Express).

"They both had very different problems with their husbands, but both were unhappy and wondered whether things were going to work out for the best."

According to Leigh, Madame Vasso warned Ferguson about John Bryan. She told Prince Andrew's wife that he would not bring her any good. But, Ferguson didn't listen. In fact, if she did, she wouldn't have been in the mess she was in.

Ferguson was caught in a toegate scandal with Bryan. Many believed that it was the reason why her marriage to the Duke of York ended in divorce.

"She was famously photographed with her financial advisor and she was wearing a bikini in some garden in the south of France and he appeared to be sucking her toes," royal biographer Penny Juror said in the documentary. "She was at Balmoral when those photographs came out. The family came down for breakfast and there was Fergie in this shocking scene and that was the end."

The royals were reportedly very furious about it. In fact, Prince Philip has not forgiven Ferguson yet. The Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of York are reportedly avoiding each other. In fact, Ferguson visited the Queen at Balmoral with Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice in August. However, she made sure to leave the estate before Prince Philip's arrival.

Many are also concerned that their rift would cause a family friction at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding. Both are expected to be at the event. The occasion would be Ferguson's royal comeback.
