Sarah Ferguson will be reuniting with the royal family at Princess Eugenie's wedding.

According to Rebecca Perring, a journalist for Daily Express, the Duchess of York will make a royal comeback in October through her daughter's big day. Ferguson will have her "time to shine" in the upcoming event.

"Sarah Ferguson's style was never low key and this is her opportunity to shine," royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the publication.

The royals have been cold towards Prince Andrew's ex-wife following their divorce. Ferguson was involved in a scandalous photo with her financial advisor, John Bryan.

The incident reportedly infuriated the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the rest of the members of The Firm. In fact, it was reportedly the reason Ferguson and Prince Andrew split.

"She was famously photographed with her financial advisor and she was wearing a bikini in some garden in the south of France and he appeared to be sucking her toes," royal biographer Penny Juror said in the documentary. "She was at Balmoral when those photographs came out. The family came down for breakfast and there was Fergie in this shocking scene and that was the end."

However, Ferguson remains good friends with the Duke of York. In fact, they still share a home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. Just recently, they also attended the Royal Ascot together with their daughter, Princess Beatrice.

The trio was photographed chatting and laughing. Ferguson shared the snap on Instagram and even called her ex-husband a "family." This triggered a number of royal fans to comment and encouraged the Duke and Duchess of York to remarry.

Ferguson was also seen with Queen Elizabeth II on the same event for the first time in several years. Ferguson has been attending Royal Ascot with Prince Andrew for four years, but she reportedly keeps a respectable distance from the Queen.

However, in June, Ferguson and Queen Elizabeth were photographed chatting and smiling. Ferguson set foot at the royal box again in the presence of the Queen and she was overjoyed.

Prince Andrew and Ferguson are expected to sit together at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding if the bride will give her sister, Princess Beatrice, a major role during the ceremony. Otherwise, Princess Beatrice might be seated between her parents.
