Sarah Ferguson recently stunned in her sheer black dress with fitted bodice during her engagement in Cologne, Germany.

The Duchess of York wore a full-length gown with sheer lace sleeves that showed off her slim figure. The dress is also adorned with gold details on the front area and the sleeves that made the piece look regal.

Ferguson posed for a photo inside her hotel room right before she took off to spend the entire evening at her friend Hermann Buehlbecker’s annual party. The mom-of-two opted to let her signature red hair down, but she styled it with pretty loose curls. Her photo was uploaded on her Instagram account on Monday, Jan. 28.

“Great fun to be joining my friend @hermann_buehlbecker for this annual party in Cologne #germany,” she captioned the picture.

Last week, Ferguson was also active on social media but for an entirely different reason. She uploaded a short video about her charity Street Child and encouraged her followers to support their efforts to provide education to millions of middle-aged students that have not received it.

“Do you think it’s acceptable that there are 121 million school-aged children around the world who aren’t in education? I don’t,” she captioned the clip.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife made headlines on Monday after it was revealed that she and Meghan Markle receive more opportunities than Kate Middleton.

Holly Jade O’Leary, an expert stylist, told Express that Markle and Ferguson outfit choices are linked to each other, but they are very different from Middleton. One of the reasons has to do with the fact that Markle and Ferguson share similar fates and will never become Queen.

“Meghan Markle and Sarah both play a glamorous role in the fantasy created around the life of the royals, with the opportunity to wear show-stopping couture whilst pregnant, celebrate maternity, and engage the public’s intrigue with the Royal Family,” she said.

O’Leary added that Markle and Ferguson are both strong and independent women with charismatic personalities. This provides them with more opportunities to define their own characters in the public eye.
