Dustin Diamond, who starred in the 1990's sitcom "Saved By The Bell," has been hospitalized in Florida.

Sources told TMZ.com that the hospitalization may be due to cancer. TMZ also reported that a biopsy is being conducted on Diamond.

Diamond’s team and various sources have told TMZ that he had an uneasy feeling over the weekend and felt pain throughout his body. The 44-year-old was then taken to the hospital.

"It's serious, but we don't know how serious yet," Diamond's team told Entertainment Weekly. "He's at an undisclosed hospital in Florida and will probably go home after treatments. We just want him to get well soon.”

Fans have been sending their love and prayers to him over social media.

Diamond played Screech Powers for four seasons on “Saved By The Bell,” but wasn’t asked to be on the revival on the streaming service, Peacock last year.

He’s also had roles in “Big Fat Liar,” “She’s Out of Control,” “Scavenger Killers” and “Pauly Shore Is Dead.”
