KEY POINTS

  • Scott Disick and Travis Barker attended the basketball game of Kourtney Kardashian's son on Sunday
  • Disick and Barker are not on friendly terms and only hang out when Kardashian's children are around
  • The Talentless cofounder could not stand to be around Barker and despised the drummer

Scott Disick only spends time with Kourtney Kardashian's fiancé Travis Barker on "rare" occasions because they are not that close.

Kardashian's ex and her current beau were spotted in the same sports event Sunday to support her 7-year-old son Reign's basketball game. Kardashian and Disick share three children, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign.

However, even if the Talentless cofounder, 38, and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, were there for the same reason, it was unlikely to happen frequently. The two were "not on friendly terms" and only put on a united front for Disick and the Poosh creator's children. Also, they only hung out "because the kids [were] around," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.

"[Scott] can't stand being around him," the source said, adding that Disick "despises Travis." However, he allegedly tried to put the drama aside for his son.

"Scott adores his kids and would do anything to make them happy," the source said.

Disick and Kardashian had an on-again, off-again relationship for almost a decade before they split for good in 2015. According to the insider, although they have remained cordial as they co-parent their children, Disick still wished things were different between them. He allegedly regretted letting go of Kardashian and still has "love for Kourtney."

"He feels like Kourtney was the one that got away and [he] still can't wrap his head around the fact that they're getting married soon," the insider added. "He feels like he's not going to find someone like Kourtney."

The tipster continued, "It's going to take time for him to fully accept Travis is The One for her."

Kardashian and Barker got engaged in October 2021. He proposed to her at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California. Kardashian's sister Khloe and the latter's ex Tristan Thompson were there when the musician got down on one knee and asked her hand in marriage.

The engagement news reportedly left Disick devastated. He even distanced himself from the Kardashians when he learned that his ex was already engaged.

"Scott hasn't really wanted to deal with Travis and Kourtney because he didn't feel like he'd have to," a source told People. "At first, it seemed like it was just a casual relationship to him, nothing serious. So he pretty much put that on mute. Hasn't been giving it too much brainpower, thinking that eventually, they'd break up."

Another insider told People in December that Disick was "still so upset" and hurt about Kardashian's engagement two months after Barker's proposal. Disick was allegedly doing his best and looking for support.

Disick spent time with Kim Kardashian because the SKIMS founder was a "good ear" to him. Disick was also close to Kim's current beau, Pete Davidson. The two of them even enjoyed a "wild" boys' night with two other pals on Saturday.
