'SEAL Team' Season 3, Episode 17: Air Date And More

“SEAL Team” Season 3, episode 17 will be released next week. The fans will not get to watch the Bravo Team in action this week, but there are some exciting new storylines to look forward to on the show next month.

According to the official plot synopsis of the next episode, the Bravo Team will be deployed in Afghanistan. Their mission will not be about hunting down terrorists because this is a peacetime deployment and they will be there to offer protection during a peace negotiation. Will a fringe group attempt to sabotage these talks by launching an attack?

While all the soldiers in the team head to the war-torn country, one of them will have to stay back. Sonny (A.J. Buckley) was punished in the last episode after a bar fight with a man pretending to be a SEAL. According to the plot synopsis, the character will have to report to an Air Force base in Texas for his disciplinary training.

A new character will be introduced in “SEAL Team” Season 3, episode 17. Sonny will meet his childhood friend Hannah (Rachel Boston). Preview pictures of the next episode posted on TV Insider tease some relaxing time Sonny will spend with his childhood friend.

Being back in Texas will also give Sonny the chance to spend more time with his father Emmet. John Savage appears to be playing the role of Sonny’s father in the next episode.

Apart from the professional challenges the soldiers are facing, the new season has also explored the challenges each one faces in their personal lives. Executive Producer Spencer Hudnut previously told TV Insider that the team will never be the same again after their mission in Venezuela.

While the fans will have to wait for another week for the show to return, there is always the option to binge watch all the previous episodes. CBS has offered the fans free access to stream all the previous seasons for one month.

“SEAL Team” Season 3, episode 17 is titled “Drawdown.” It will air on April 8.
