“SEAL Team” Season 4 will bring another action packed adventure of the soldiers when the show returns later this year. Lead cast member David Boreanaz, who has worked as the director for the premiere episode of the next season, has teased some details about what the fans can expect.

The Bravo Team was last seen in Afghanistan, where they were involved in missions that constantly put their lives in danger. There were also personal stories of the soldiers, who had their own issues to deal with while working in a hostile environment.

What will happen when the show returns with another season? Jason Hayes actor Boreanaz told TV Line recently that the fans will be “very surprised” by what they will see on the show. The actor isn’t allowed to reveal any plot details, but he decided to tease this bit of information for the eager fans.

Boreanaz was busy directing the premiere episode of “SEAL Team” Season 4 when the production was forced to shut down because of the coronavirus. The episode was supposed to air as a part of Season 3, but it has now been pushed to be a part of the new stories that will be released later this year.

As far as his character Jason is concerned, Boreanaz pointed out that the leader of the Bravo Team can’t work behind the desk and no one can force him to do a job he doesn’t like. What the character loves to do is be with his brothers and lead them on the field. This aspect of the character will play out in the next two episodes on the show.

In another interview with TV Line, Boreanaz confirmed that there is a “plot twist” for Jason. He also revealed that episodes 21 and 22, which will now be a part of Season 4, are connected. There will be a big cliff-hanger in the premiere episode of the next season that will lead into the second episode.

Although the TV series has been gaining popularity steadily, the Season 3 finale saw a small drop in the number of viewers, TV Line reported. 4.6 million people viewed the finale, which is down 21% on a week-to-week basis.

“SEAL Team” Season 4 is set to air later this year. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
