Looks like Selena Gomez is in good spirits following her ex Justin Bieber’s wedding.

According to People, the 27-year-old singer revealed a new look while leaving a recording studio in Los Angeles on Tuesday, just one day after the wedding ceremony of Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin in South Carolina.

The musician looked stylish in a pair of black overalls paired with a tank top just weeks after teasing that new music is in the works. The “Good For You” hitmaker ditched her shoulder-length hair for long brown locks with light highlights.

Her new hairstyle saw her wearing luscious brown branches partially tied back with loose curls hanging down past her shoulders. She completed her look by applying minimal makeup.

Gomez is now focused on devoting her energy to the things that truly matter to her. She recently penned an emotional essay for Time Magazine about the immigration crisis in the U.S. The essay which was published just hours after her ex’s wedding saw her admitting that this country needs some rules and regulations, but people should not forget that the country was formed by the people who came here from various other countries.

The “Back To You” singer also shared that it is time to listen to complex stories of the people whose lives are being directly affected by such “flawed” immigration policies.

Gomez also shared that her aunt crossed the border from Mexico to the U.S. hidden in the back of the truck. Her grandparents followed suit and her father was born in Texas soon after. She confessed that her family has worked hard over the past four decades to gain citizenship in the country. The musician also recognized that she, as a famous Mexican-American woman, is in a position to help the people who are in dire need of it.

To spread awareness about the policies, she is serving as an executive producer for the Netflix documentary series “Living Undocumented.” According to the singer, the documentary will follow eight families living in the U.S. who are facing “possible deportation.”

“I hope that getting to know these eight families and their stories will inspire people to be more compassionate and to learn more about immigration and form their own opinion,” Gomez said.

“Living Undocumented” is now streaming on Netflix.
