  • Selena Gomez revealed the artist that she dreams of having a collaboration with is none other than Taylor Swift
  • Gomez also shared that they have already talked about it before
  • The "Lose You To Love Me" hitmaker considers Swift "family"

Selena Gomez has revealed that she would love to collaborate with her close pal Taylor Swift on a song, and she’s looking forward for it to happen.

Gomez shared that it will be a dream come true for her to make new music with the “Cardigan” hitmaker, Elle reported citing the musician’s remarks in Twitch’s Animal Talking stream. The “Rare" hitmaker also admitted that they previously talked about doing a collaboration.

“I’ll say there’s a few artists for sure, but I have always dreamt of doing a song with Taylor. I mean, we both wanted to do that. It is just—everything remains in our friendship, you know? And so, it is so—It just feels like we are family. I have known her for 13 or 14 years now. So she has been my best friend. But we have talked about it for sure,” Gomez said during the stream.

This is not the first time Gomez publicly expressed her admiration for her best friend, Swift.

Back in January, Gomez revealed how close the “Bad Blood” hitmaker remained when she was experiencing so many issues like her depleting mental and physical health, her battle against lupus and her nasty breakup with Justin Bieber. Gomez also noted that she could count on Swift to support her in any given situation.

At the time, the “Good For You” singer also explained the reason why many people do not know about their friendship. According to Gomez, they do not feel the “need” to talk about their strong relationship on social media.

“She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected. Flown in because I was hurt and was going through something. Stuff that was going on with my family. It has been proved year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends in the world,” Gomez said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

In the same interview, Swift revealed that she feels really protective of the “Lose You To Love Me” singer.

Meanwhile, during the recent Twitch stream, Gomez also announced that she is already working on her next album.

“It’s funny because I already feel like I have been working on the new album so I’m not in that headspace as much. But I am so proud of what we did [with ‘Rare’]. Oh no, I’m not sure if I was supposed to say that,” Elle quoted Gomez, as saying.
