Selena Gomez recently made an appearance on Instagram, but unfortunately it was not on her own page. The singer, who announced she was taking a break from social media in September 2018, appeared in one of Taylor Swift's new posts, looking happy and healthy as she shared a drink with friends.

Last week, Swift shared a fun photo of herself, Gomez and Cazzie David on Instagram. The girls looked like they were having the time of their lives as they sipped some wine and hung out together.

This wasn't the first time that Gomez has made an appearance on Instagram pages not her own over the past several months. Last week, she went horseback riding with friends Raquelle Stevens and Anna Collins. The former Disney star exuded western vibes in her sherpa patched tapestry-like coat, pair of jeans, sneakers and her signature gold hoop earrings.

Stevens shared a photo of the three of them on horseback on her Instagram. The beautiful snap showed the three friends sitting on their horses with a gorgeous backdrop.

Equine therapy seems to be doing wonders for Gomez, who previously canceled the remaining dates of her "Revival" tour and took a break from the entertainment industry due to health issues in 2016. Back in 2017, she admitted in an interview that taking a break from work with her phone turned off for 90 days was the "best thing" she had ever done.

“I was in the countryside and never did my hair… And it was hard, obviously,” Gomez told Instyle in its September 2017 issue. “But I knew what my heart was saying, and I thought, ‘OK, I think this has helped me become stronger for other people.'”

Gomez indeed seems to have a fondness for nature activities. In December last year, she went on a wintery getaway with her pals Connar Franklin and actress Bailee Madison in Big Bear, California. Franklin and Madison shared photos of them from the trip, with Gomez looking radiant after getting released from mental health treatment.

Gomez, who has been battling lupus for years and got a kidney transplant due to it, reportedly underwent dialectical behavior therapy. This is a method that aims to try to identify and change a person's negative thinking and behavioral patterns.

After her snowy vacation, Gomez reportedly returned home, hung out with more friends and engaged in more nature activities.

“Selena looks amazing. Since finishing her treatment, she is surrounding herself with friends,” a source told People. “She seems very happy.”
