After being hospitalized in 2018, Selena Gomez reportedly began focusing on her health, however, a new report claims there are people in the “Back to You” singer’s circle of friends who may ruin her recovery.

Gomez reportedly checked herself into rehab in October after suffering a mental breakdown amid complications with her health and kidney transplant.

Following those reports, Life & Style published an article claiming those close to Gomez are worried she will pick up bad habits from her friends after completing rehab. “Selena just got out of treatment and she’s already playing with fire,” an alleged source told the tabloid.

The supposed confidant went on to claim some of Gomez’s friends are “hard-core partiers” and insisted the “13 Reasons Why” producer should be around people who have her best interest at heart. “She needs a solid support system by her side, not a party posse. This is a crucial time for her.”

Rumors about Gomez’s toxic friendships comes after reports the 26-year-old was “crushed” when she learned Justin Bieber married Hailey Baldwin months after their break up.

A previous report suggested Gomez was upset about being single for the holidays and was struggling to accept Bieber’s marriage to Baldwin.

Despite the rumors, Gomez has not acknowledged reports claiming she is hanging out with hardcore partiers following her stint in rehab.
