"The Sims 5" is one of the heavily rumored unannounced games in the industry. EA and Maxis have been silent about the much-awaited sequel and until now have not yet confirmed if the game is in development. However, the devs' silence might end very soon if the latest leak is anything to go by.

A recent leak posted on 4Chan and later shared on Reddit revealed a plethora of details about an upcoming event by the video game publisher EA. While EA will not be at the all-virtual E3 2021, it would hold its own event called the EA Play Live 2021 to announce its upcoming titles. The event is reportedly scheduled for June 14 at 11 a.m. EDT or 8 a.m. PDT or 4 p.m. BST.

According to the leak, EA would release the teaser trailer of "The Sims 5" at the said event. Fans could also learn more details about the next "The Sims" installment from the developer's interview portion. Moreover, the leak reveals that EA would release the game sometime in the Spring of 2022.

As for its launch platform, it appears that "The Sims 5" would be released on PC. Aside from "The Sims," EA would apparently announce "Madden NFL 22" (Tiburon) alongside the launch of a gameplay trailer. Like "The Sims 5," there would be a developer interview portion and an announcement of the game's release. "Madden NFL 22" would reportedly launch on August 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

EA would reportedly announce another much-awaited title at the EA Play Live 2021. According to the leak, the video game publisher will officially unveil "Battlefield 6" along with a gameplay trailer. The first-person shooter title will release on Nov. 19, 2021, and would be immediately playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
