“Southern Charm” alum Cameran Eubanks addressed the rumors that her husband cheated on her.

Just recently, Eubanks announced in a comment on Instagram that she is not returning for “Southern Charm” Season 7. Shortly after that, several outlets reported that her husband, Jason Wimberly, cheated on her.

Cameran took to Instagram to address the issue. According to the reality star, she wanted to make a kind statement about her exit from the show, but the rumors about her marriage caught her attention.

Cameran admitted that she was upset but wasn’t surprised. It turned out that she quit the show because she wanted to keep her marriage private.

“You must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren’t worth a big paycheck,” Cameran wrote.

“What upsets me the most is that my husband, who is the most sincere and faithful man I know is being falsely dragged into this. It disgusts me.”

Cameran said Jason has been very supportive of her craft even if he didn’t want the spotlight. She added that “this is what you sign up for when you put you [sic] life on reality TV… and why I’m getting out of it now.”

According to the reality star, reality shows need drama to stay relevant. And so false rumors are sometimes created.

“My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumors about my marriage. Please disregard any fabricated rumor. It’s a ploy for ratings and that’s it. Now I absolutely know I was smart to leave the party early. My gut has never failed me,” she added.

Cameran concluded her statement by thanking the people she worked with on the show including her co-stars, the other cast and the crew.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Wash, a make-up artist in Charleston, Southern Carolina, who is allegedly Jason’s mistress reacted to the news on Instagram, too. According to her, she was “wrongfully accused” and she never met Cameran or Jason in her life.

Wash added that the allegations that Kathryn Dennis started the rumor was hurtful because she met her once but only in a professional capacity. She then called the rumor “dumbfounding, hurtful and malicious.”
