  • Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen are set to face each other at ONE Fight Night 6
  • Stamp want to beat Meksen by either knockout or submission
  • Stamp promises to have a celebratory dance when she clinches the win

Just days before her highly-anticipated showdown with Anissa Meksen, Stamp Fairtex has made it pretty clear what she plans on doing.

Stamp and Meksen are set to square off in a hybrid atomweight mixed martial arts (MMA)-Muay Thai super-fight at ONE Fight Night 6, which emanates from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand this coming Friday, January 13th (Saturday, January 14 in Asia).

A former ONE Championship titleholder in both Muay Thai and kickboxing, Stamp has committed herself to MMA in recent years as she continues to work towards becoming a three-sport world champion.

With a 9-2 MMA record and wins over the likes of Bi Nguyen, Ritu Phogat and Jihin Radzuan, the Rayong, Thailand native is confident that she can leave the Impact Arena with her hands raised.

"I believe I have practiced more than her and have more experience on the ground because I have only been focusing on MMA during the past two years," Stamp shared in a recent interview. "I definitely had more time to concentrate on MMA compared to [Meksen], who just started training in MMA after hearing the news about the super-fight."

The usually-jolly Stamp even had some strong fighting words for her French-Algerian foe.

"I don't think she is good enough. And even though she had trained in MMA before, it was a long time ago. The fact that she doesn't train it regularly, she should forget everything when it comes to a real fight," she said.

To her credit, Meksen is perhaps one of the most decorated female strikers in the world.

The 34-year-old is a champion in kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savate, and boxing.

Under the ONE Championship banner, Meksen is 3-0, with wins over Cristina Morales, Marie Ruumet and Dangkongfah Banchamek.

While it's arguable that Meksen could be a more decorated striker than Stamp, the two won't be sharing the cage in a purely-striking capacity.

Stamp and Meksen's mixed-rules bout will feature a three-round encounter, with the first and third rounds being contested under Muay Thai rules.

The second and fourth rounds will be contested under MMA rules, which means grappling and submissions will come into play.

Stamp believes that she can dominate Meksen in the second round and pull off the victory.

"I think I can finish her in the MMA round because I think I'm better than her in MMA. She said her striking skill is better than mine. I want to ask her back, 'Did you forget that I used to be a Muay Thai world champion?' That means I will never let her bully me without a fight," the Thai vixen warned.

"Her words seem to ruin my reputation as Muay Thai world champion. I can't tell you which round, but I will definitely finish her by way of knockout or submission."

Should Stamp emerge victorious, she plans on rubbing even more salt into Meksen's wounds by busting out her signature "Stamp Dance."

This was, of course, one of Meksen's points of discussion when she decided to talk smack with her opponent.

"She (Meksen) said she was better than me in everything because she is a fighter and I am a dancer. But if I can catch her in the Muay Thai clinch, she will definitely be doomed. She will never run away from my elbows in that clinch," Stamp stated.

"I've prepared to feed her with my elbows so that she can't trash talk for good. It is okay to provoke your opponent with juicy trash talk, but I think she crossed the line too much this time," she added. "She said I'm a dancer. So, my plan is that after I submit or knock her out, I'm going to dance right in front of her to show that she was just defeated by a dancer."

ONE Fight Night on Prime Video 6 will also feature a world title triple-header as Superbon Singha Mawynn and Chingiz Allazov battle for the ONE featherweight kickboxing championship, as well as Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Daniel Puertas vie for the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing title and Mikey Musumeci defends his ONE flyweight submission grappling belt versus Gantumur Bayanduuren.
