“Star Wars: The Rise Skywalker” is not only the last film in the new trilogy, but it also marks the end of the story of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and all the nine films of the saga from the franchise. The digital and the Blu-ray versions of the flick will be released this month.

The digital version will be released on March 17, while the Blu-ray will be out by the 31st. The official Twitter page of the franchise made the release date announcement recently. Fans can pre-order the film on the official website of the franchise.

The Best Buy exclusive offer of the film comes with collectible steel box. Target is offering an exclusive filmmaker gallery book and a bonus content disc.

There will also be a 4K Ultra HD Ultimate Collector’s Edition that will go on sale on Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. However, the release date of this product is yet to be announced. The retail giants will also offer a multi-screen edition soon.

With “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” completing the journey of Luke, all nine films will now be offered in a combo pack. The collector’s edition of all the movies will be available on Best Buy in the coming weeks.

The digital and Blu-ray versions of the film will include some bonus content. The fans can see a feature length documentary titled “The Skywalker Legacy,” a feature titled “The Maestro’s Finale” that will be available exclusively on the digital version, a video that will show how they created the Pasaana Speeder chase scene, a video explain the details about the aliens in the desert, and there will also be a video about the past of the droid D.O.

Apart from the Blu-ray and the digital release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” there is also an art book of the film that the fans can buy. The franchise is giving away one of these books in a contest for fans on Twitter.
