The Strain
Will Fet (Kevin Durand, left) and Setrakian (David Bradley) find a way to stop Eldritch Palmer's (Jonathan Hyde) plan in "The Strain" episode 7? FX

The Master and Eldritch Palmer gained the upper hand in Season 2, episode 6 of FX's "The Strain," while Eph and company went through a series of setbacks. However, based on a teaser video and photos, it looks like the arrival of Mr. Quinlan could help put the master back on his heels in episode 7, “The Born.”

The sneak peek video shows a moment fans can really look forward to. It looks like Setrakian (David Bradley) and Mr. Quinlan (Rupert Penry-Jones) will meet, as they're shown sharing war stories about their battles with the Master (Robin Atkin Downes) over the years.

“I see you've been hunting the Master for some time,” Quinlan says.

“Most of my life,” Setrakian replies. "You?"

“All of mine,” Quinlan says, as a clip of him fighting in what appears to be a gladiator pit in ancient Rome is shown.

At the end of the video an intense standoff is featured between Setrakian, Mr. Quinlan and the Master -- in his new body. The show hasn't revealed much about the book-favorite Mr. Quinlan yet, but that will likely change Sunday night.

After losing their newest team member, Fitzwilliam, in episode 6, Fet (Kevin Durand) and Setrakian look like they're putting a new plan into action based on the information they were provided by Fitzwilliam about Palmer (Jonathan Hyde). What could they be up to, walking around in the snow with boltcutters?

In episode 7, Eph (Corey Stoll) will return to New York after his once promising plan of using a bio-weapon on the strigoi failed thanks to Palmer. Eph will also try and come to terms with being responsible for the deaths of Rob (Tom Ellis) and Lee (Nadia Bowers), who were killed by Palmer's men. Eph and Nora (Mia Maestro) will have to go back to the drawing board and develop a new plan to get their new weapon out there to save the human race.

Dutch (Ruta Gedmintas) was nowhere to be found in the last episode, but she is expected to return in episode 7 where she will have a surprise visitor. Could this visitor be the friend she's been searching for all season?

"The Strain" Season 2, episode 7 will air on FX on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m. EDT.
