Oddsmakers already have an idea for the 2022 Super Bowl line, even though the exact matchup won’t be set until the conference title games are played. The point spread for the NFL’s championship game is expected to be more than one point but less than four points, depending on Sunday’s results.

The Super Bowl LVI line will favor the Kansas City Chiefs if they win the AFC Championship Game, no matter their opponent, according to projected betting odds from Caesars Sportsbook. The Cincinnati Bengals would be Super Bowl underdogs against either the Los Angeles Rams or San Francisco 49ers.

The look-ahead line for a Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Rams is 1.5 points. Kansas City is projected to be a 2.5-point favorite over San Francisco in a possible rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl.

If the Bengals upset the Chiefs and the Rams beat the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, it would create the largest possible Super Bowl point spread. Los Angeles is projected to be a 3.5-point favorite over Cincinnati.

San Francisco would be favored by 1.5 points over Cincinnati in the Super Bowl. The 49ers defeated the Bengals in overtime during the regular season.

Kansas City is favored by a touchdown over Cincinnati in the AFC Championship Game. Los Angeles is laying 3.5 points against San Francisco in the NFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs opened as three-point favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in last year’s Super Bowl. Kansas City was a 1.5-point favorite over San Francisco two years ago. Los Angeles was a 2.5-point underdog against the New England Patriots in the 2019 Super Bowl.

Cincinnati hasn’t reached the Super Bowl since the 1988 season.
