Hallmark Channel’s lineup of “Spring Into Love” movies continues with the final new premiere of the season, “A Tail of Love.” The film, starring Brittany Bristow and Chris McNally, airs on Saturday night.

The film will be a treat for Hallmark fans as it will not only serve as the final film of the Spring lineup, but it will also reunite fans with some familiar faces. Bristow has previously starred in “Holiday Date,” “Love, Romance & Chocolate,” “Love on Safari,” “Royal Matchmaker,” “Christmas Next Door” and “Love Blossoms.” McNally meanwhile, has starred in “Rocky Mountain Christmas,” “The Sweetest Heart,” “A Winter Princess” and “Snowkissed,” as well as “When Calls the Heart.”

Jayne Eastwood (“Heart of the Holidays”) also stars.

So what can fans expect from this film? Let’s find out.

“Bella (Bristow) runs a dog rescue with her grandmother Lily (Eastwood), a passion project started by her late grandfather,” a synopsis reads. “The rescue’s future is put into question when they discover they’re losing funding from their main sponsor—a dog food company being sold following the owner’s passing.”

“JR (McNally), the late owner’s son, is a soldier who is home on leave to handle the details of the sale,” the synopsis continues. “While visiting the rescue, JR quickly bonds with Indie (Moxie), a retired military dog, and continues to stop by to spend time with his new, four-legged friend. When Bella learns that the rescue’s property is also being sold, she turns to JR for help in finding the missing document proving her grandparents purchased the land many years before.”

As the two work together, an attraction is sparked, but something big could stand in their way.

“In the process, Bella and JR become close and start to fall for each other, but JR’s upcoming return to active duty could put a halt to their budding romance,” the synopsis concludes.

“A Tail of Love” premieres Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
